About
WHISKEY JACK
Whiskey "Jack" Jackson, was born sometime after the Apollo moon landing and before MTV. He is of Sasquatch decent and hails from the majestic peaks of the Great Rocky Mountains.
Youngest of 3 siblings, Jack often felt like he got lost in the shadows of his considerably bigger brother, Harry and his charismatic other brother, Susan. So he set off to find himself by travelling the world. The problem is that Jack is terrible with directions and spent many years lost and wandering. Eventually he came across the Great Smoky Mountains and the state he now calls his beloved home, Tennessee.
Jack loves the outdoors and is learning to fish (yes, he is embarrassed that he is the only Sasquatch on the planet who can't fish). His believes you can fix anything with a little duct tape, a few zip ties, and a healthy amount of WD40. He hates it when people talk with their mouth full and has an irrational fear of centipedes. He starts every morning with a giant cup of extra dark coffee and has an unhealthy addiction to Cheez-Its and Little Debbie snacks. Jack works hard, loves his family, honors his country, and enjoys an occasional sip of Tennessee whiskey. His favorite quote:
"Faith consists in believing when it is beyond the power of reason to believe." ~ Voltaire
Jack is your average, every-day bigfoot, who has hopped on the social media bandwagon after decades of unintendedly being elusive, and invites to you follow him on Facebook so you can GET LOST with him in the Smoky Mountains, too.
A MATCH MADE IN
The Smoky Mountains
When Whiskey Retreats was formed back in 2023, the highly-talented, shrewd, freakishly-intelligent, good-looking marketing team (and by team, I mean it's just me) realized that the our brand needed a boost. We needed some character and charisma. We needed a spokesperson.
Then in during the summer of 2024, we hit the "jack"pot...we found Whiskey Jack. Or, more accurately, he found us! Whiskey Jack was hiking near his home in the Smoky Mountains when he got lost. We've come to learn that getting lost is a regular occurrence for Jack. Luckily (for him and us), he stumbled upon one of the Whiskey Retreat cabins. He plugged in the address to his GPS and found his way home.
Jack couldn't stop thinking of that cozy cabin tucked in the woods and decided to check out the Whiskey Retreat website to learn more. We met for breakfast and before we knew it, a partnership was born. We think Whiskey Jack represents our customers and he we are proud to have him on our team!
